Privacy Policy

The short version
- The answers you type into your documents are saved in your own browser. They are not sent to our servers, and we can’t see them.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number.
- If you use our “Need help?” chat, an automated assistant answers. Your messages go to Anthropic, which provides the AI, and we keep chat transcripts for 90 days, with email addresses, phone numbers and long numbers removed.
- We receive only what we need: purchase records from Stripe, emails you send us, and beta survey answers.
- We don’t sell your information, we don’t use advertising or tracking tools, and we don’t share your information for advertising.
- You can ask us what we have about you and ask us to delete it.

1.Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Grapevine Docs, LLC, a Washington limited liability company doing business as Tovakin (“Tovakin,” “we,” “us”), handles information when you use our website at www.tovakin.com and our document tools (the “Service”). It is part of our Terms and Conditions.
The Service is intended for residents of the United States, and the information we receive is handled in the United States.
2.The most important point: your answers stay in your browser
The answers you type into our document tools, including names, addresses, family details, property and your health care wishes, are saved in your own web browser, on your own device. They are not sent to or stored on our servers, and we cannot see them.
Your finished documents are also created in your browser. When you download or print a document, it goes directly to your device.
Your documents usually include information about other people, such as your spouse, children, beneficiaries, guardians, agents and trustees. That information is treated the same way: it stays in your browser, and we do not receive it. Please share it only with the people and institutions who need it.
Because your answers live in your browser, anyone who uses the same browser on the same device may be able to see them. On a shared or public computer, use “Start over” on each document when you are finished, or clear your browser’s data for our site.
3.Information we do receive
We receive a limited amount of information:
- When you buy. Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own secure page. Stripe collects your name, email address, billing details and card information. Stripe sends us a record of the purchase (such as your name, email address, the plan you bought, the amount and a receipt number), but we never see or store your full card number.
- When you email us. If you write to support@tovakin.com (or info@ or help@), we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
- When you use our help chat. Our “Need help?” chat is answered by an automated assistant (artificial intelligence), not a person. What you type in the chat is sent to Cloudflare, which runs our chat program, and to Anthropic, PBC, which provides the AI model that writes the answers. We keep a copy of each chat conversation for 90 days, to check the assistant’s answers and improve our help. Before a conversation is saved, email addresses, phone numbers and long numbers (such as card or account numbers) are removed automatically, and we do not keep your name or IP address with it. To prevent misuse, the chat counts how many messages a visitor sends in an hour, using a scrambled form of the IP address that is deleted after about an hour. Please do not type Social Security numbers, card or account numbers, passwords, or private details about your health or family into the chat. The chat helps with using the Service and does not give legal advice.
- If you are a beta tester. Our feedback survey is hosted by Tally. We receive the answers you give in the survey, which may include your name or email address if you choose to provide them.
- Basic technical information. Like almost every website, the companies that host and deliver our site automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not ask for your Social Security number, and we do not collect information about you from data brokers or social media.
Because Tovakin is not a law firm, your communications with us, including emails to our support addresses and messages in our help chat, are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
4.Information kept on your device
To make the Service work, our site stores the following in your browser (using your browser’s local storage, not advertising cookies):
- your answers for each document, so you can close the page and come back;
- details you’ve already given (such as your name, state and county) so later documents don’t ask again;
- a record of what you have paid for, including the Stripe receipt number, so your purchase stays unlocked in that browser;
- if you are a beta tester, a note that you are one and whether you have completed the survey;
- if you use the help chat, the conversation, kept only until you close that browser tab;
- if you arrived by clicking one of our ads, which ad it was (for example “facebook, kids-will”), kept for 30 days. If you buy, that ad name is included with your order so we can tell which ads work. It is not shared with the ad company.
You can remove this information at any time by using “Start over” or by clearing your browser’s data for www.tovakin.com. If you do, your purchases will no longer be unlocked in that browser; contact us with your receipt and we will help.
5.How we use information
We use the information we receive only to:
- confirm and deliver your purchase, and help you if you lose access to it;
- answer your questions and provide support;
- process refunds and keep business, tax and accounting records;
- improve the Service, including by reading beta testers’ feedback;
- protect the Service against fraud and misuse, and comply with the law.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use the answers in your documents at all, because we don’t receive them. We do not use your information to train artificial intelligence models.
6.Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed for them to do so:
- Stripe, to process payments;
- Cloudflare, which runs the small programs that confirm your payment with Stripe (it handles your Stripe receipt number, not your card details) and answer our help chat (it stores chat transcripts as described above), and handles our additional web addresses;
- Anthropic, which provides the AI model that answers our help chat. Anthropic receives the messages in a chat conversation in order to answer them. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use them to train its models. Anthropic may keep messages for a limited time under its own policies;
- GitHub, which hosts our website;
- Google, which provides the fonts used on our pages (your browser requests them from Google’s servers);
- Tally, which hosts our beta feedback survey;
- Microsoft, which provides our email.
Other websites. Our site links to pages run by other companies, such as Stripe’s payment page and our Tally survey. This policy does not cover those sites; their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information transferred.
7.Cookies, tracking and “Do Not Track”
We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking tools on our site (no tracking pixels), and we do not track you across other websites. Our ad links carry a simple label naming the ad, as described in section 4. Stripe may use cookies on its own payment page to process your payment and prevent fraud.
Because we do not track you across websites, our site does not change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” signals from your browser.
8.How long we keep information
We keep purchase and payment records for as long as we need them for your purchase, support and refunds, and as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to seven years). We keep support emails and beta survey responses for as long as they are useful to help you and improve the Service, and then delete them. Information kept in your browser stays there until you or your browser remove it. Help chat transcripts are deleted automatically 90 days after the conversation.
9.Security
Our site is served only over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Because your document answers are stored in your browser, the security of that information also depends on the security of your device. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.Your choices and rights
You can:
- see, change or delete your document answers at any time in your own browser;
- ask us what personal information we have about you (such as purchase records and emails), and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to support@tovakin.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, such as tax records;
- choose not to take part in the beta survey.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. We will respond to requests as those laws require.
11.Nevada residents
Nevada law gives Nevada consumers the right to direct an operator of a website not to sell certain personal information. We do not sell personal information. If you are a Nevada resident and would still like to submit a request, write to support@tovakin.com with the subject line “Nevada privacy request.”
12.Children
The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and if the change is significant (for example, if we start storing your answers on our servers, as we would for customer accounts), we will post a notice on our site before the change takes effect.
